  • How often should I be working out?
According to the National Council on Aging (NCOA), adults aged 65 and older should aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity per week. This can be achieved by working out 30 minutes a day, five days a week, or 50 minutes a day, three days a week.
  • Do I need my camera on during the online class?
We love seeing everyone in our BluZone community during workouts, but we understand if you prefer not to be on camera.
  • What equipment do I need for class?
All you need is a positive attitude! We recommend resistance training tools like handheld weights, weighted balls, and/or resistance bands, along with a chair for support. Household items like 16oz food cans or 8oz water bottles also work great as substitutes for weights. Additionally, we’ve partnered with oatespecialties.com and stroops.com, where you can purchase weighted balls and resistance bands of your choice.
  • Can I provide comments/feedback on the class and instructor?
We’d love to hear from you! Your feedback is important to us as we strive to improve the program. Feel free to share your thoughts or leave a testimonial via our Contact Form or connect with us on Facebook or Instagram.
  • Can I tell my local library or senior center to contact BluZone?
Yes, absolutely! If you'd like, you can ask your local library or senior center to reach out to us directly. We’re happy to discuss how they can get involved and provide more information about the program.
